A single phrase might look to critique a lover, capitalism, america and himself all in one fell swoop and then sweep the sentiment under the rug in the next breath. His purpose is to give words and space to the indescribable, the universal made personal and then something else entirely. He is a writer of and for himself, because the words must get out.
